十年科技成果！分享色盲者初次見到紫色的喜悅

根據資料顯示現時每 12 名男士及 200 名女士當中，可能就有一人會有一定程度的色覺缺陷（CVD），亦即是一般人所講的色盲。不過患有色盲的人現在就終於有一個好消息了，因為 EnChroma 早前就成功設計出一款矯正眼鏡，據稱可以讓色盲人士重見顏色。
EnChroma 表示其研究開發團隊在一間美國國立衛生研究院資助的小企業資助下，經過十多年的時間終於成功研發出這款色盲矯正眼鏡。據了解研究人員主要是針對色覺缺陷這種遺傳病進行研究，並製作出一個複雜的人類可見色視覺模型，之後他們再利用特製的光譜過濾器，成功解決一定程度的色盲問題。
資料顯示 EnChroma 矯正眼鏡主要是針對紅及綠色的色覺缺陷，而且據稱多達 80% 患上這種疾病的人都可以用這款眼鏡去解決問題。官方更指出其功能除十分顯著外，同時眼鏡的外型設計更與一般眼鏡沒有太大分別，而且更設計出多種不同大小的款式，適合不同人士在各種場合下配戴。
值得留意的是 EnChroma 矯正眼鏡的成效可能比想像中高，因為早前一位名為 Ethan Scott 的色盲男子，最近就從其男人手中取得這款眼鏡，而且使用之後更可以看到綠、粉紅及紫等幾種顏色。若然該眼鏡的價格可進一步調低（現時售價由 2,712 至 3,332 港元不等），相信應該可以讓更多色盲人士受惠。

回覆刪除Strong protans (“pro-tans”) have a severe form of red-green color blindness.
Strong protans generally do not get the “wow-effect” from the EnChroma Cx lens. Color vision may be improved slightly, but the effect is subtle and takes a significant amount of time to adapt to (anywhere from days to weeks). In some cases, there may be no noticeable effect at all–these types are called dichromats, where the individual has effectively no L-cone photopigments at all).
Based on feedback from people with similar results, we believe there is about a 30% chance that EnChroma glasses will help your color vision.
